Why This Matters to Me

Years ago, I watched my father's health decline and stepped in to help care for him. Today, my wife helps care for her aging mother. I've seen this season of life up close, both as a family member and throughout my career working with older adults — and I know how easy it is to feel like you're figuring it all out on your own.

That's part of why I joined the Leadership Team for ACAP Forsyth-North Fulton, a chapter of the national nonprofit ACAPcommunity. I serve as our Program Coordinator — I build our monthly program schedule, find local speakers, and usually serve as the moderator. It's volunteer work, and it's some of the most meaningful work I do.
